Left to Right – Live at Sweetwater on 47/17/2025: Susan Z, Elena Keating, Steven Winter, Mike Jobe, backed by drummer Denise Martin and members of Wall Street singing “I will survive.”

Happening Now is a benefit for local musician Elena Keating. If you remember our earlier years and days-gone-by at New George’s nightclub, Elena was the lead singer for the pop dance band WALL STREET, as well as lead for The R&B Allstars, and a dozen other bands. Elena briefly also worked here at Creekside our first year, offering her support to us as we navigated being newbies in town. Fast-forward from the late 80’s and 90’s at George’s to today, Elena is facing the fight of her life, a battle against breast cancer. So, what do we do? Whatever it takes.
